| You Found Your Bach Piano Music Where?! |
|
Have you ever ordered something online and received it only
to discover it’s a fake? Perhaps you tried to download the latest album or DVD
you wanted to see, only to discover that it was a reedited version. More often
than not, you have come across some of these black market businesses online,
and in the current online era you can never trust that what you buy is the real
McCoy, not even Bach
piano music! No matter what it is you want to buy, there is always
someone out there, just waiting to take advantage of you. Even piano students
can never be too careful. Never underestimate a seller's drive to make a quick
and easy buck. Whether you are trying to buy a designer fragrance or Bach piano
sheet music, you can never be too careful or too wary of fake versions. Here are a few red flags to watch for when buying Bach piano
music: If you’re offered the chance to
buy something in a back alley, just say no! You don't want to go there, for
piano music or any other item. If you are walking down the street and someone
holding a book of piano music beckons you down a dark alley, don't follow them!
The same goes for anyone who makes
far-fetched promises. If you are having a hard time believing what you’re told,
it is probably for good reason. Whatever the seller promises you,
don't believe them. Run the other way! Everything they are telling you is a lie!
All joking aside, though, it really is important to be
careful where you buy your piano sheet music. It used to be that there was only
one place to get piano music, specialist music stores, and this meant that for
the most part you couldn't go wrong. However, with the advent of the Internet, things
have changed. There are an abundance of suspicious websites promising free
downloadable sheet music and further pages trying to sell piano music ebooks
that often cost a pretty penny. But how do you know who you can trust? One of the best indicators as to whether a website or ebook
publisher is a reputable provider of sheet music is their online reputation. Search
for information about them and see if many complaints rank highly in the
results pages. Do customers say their sheet music is fuzzy or hard to read, or
that the music has been changed from its original form? Is it the music
appropriate for the skill level it is supposedly marketed for? These are the
questions you will want answers to before you purchase sheet music from any
online store. There are also many evils on the Internet that you have to
be on the lookout for, such as scams and viruses. These are two more good
reasons to search for information on a website or publisher before you ever
purchase music from them. Also, be sure to thoroughly read the terms of service
(don't just click on the box accepting the terms without actually reading them)
and be sure that the site isn't downloading some type of suspicious software in
addition to your sheet music. It is not impossible to find good suppliers of sheet music
online. Many traditionalists are skeptical, since they always bought their
music in stores, but that doesn't mean that you can't find good Bach piano
music available for purchase or download on the Internet. It just means that
just like anything else on the Internet, you need to be careful who you send
money to or download files from.

| Definitely good advice about being careful where you buy piano sheet music. There are a lot of legitimate websites out there, but there are also a few shady ones as well. I personally just asked a friend who plays regularly and buys sheet music all the time what the names of some trustworthy sites were. |
